Hiram College

Hiram students were challenged during the annual ideabuild! competition, hosted by the Burton D. Morgan Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship at Hiram College.

Hiram College has recently announced the 2023 winners of the annual Lindsay-Crane Creative Nonfiction Contest judged by Raechel Anne Jolie. Contest submissions must fall within the guidelines for the genre developed by the Association of Writers and Writing Programs for creative nonfiction: "Factual and literary writing that has the narrative, dramatic, meditative, and lyrical elements of novels, plays, poetry, and memoirs." The contest was open to all currently enrolled Hiram College undergraduate students.

Recently, a group of Hiram College integrative exercise science students traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to attend the Midwest American College of Sports Medicine's (MWACSM) annual conference, and to compete in the student Exercise Science Quiz Bowl Competition. Hiram College won the Midwest division of the competition for the second year in a row, and will now be moving on to Nationals.

Spring 2022 IDEABUILD! competition award winners are announced. IDEABUILD! is an annual competition that allows Hiram students to pitch their inventions and innovative ideas to a panel of judges.

Fall 2021 IDEABLITZ! competition award winners are announced. IDEABLITZ! is an annual fall semester pitch competition and is a venue for Hiram students to pitch their inventions and innovative ideas to a panel of judges.
